Alumni Weekend and My mom’s perspective
Mom: *bringing up casual conversation *” what are you doing this weekend?”
Me: It’s alumni weekend
Mom:…oo So.. uhh?
Me: It’s the radio station’s 50th anniversary. Alumni will be coming up for the past fifty years.
Mom:…oo So..uhh?
Me: *sigh* Alumni will be coming up and there will be various events, a concert and a party and socials etc.
Mom: well…so does that mean you will be drinking? Melissa,That’s not appropriate to drink with the alumni. And I hope you won’t be smoking weed either .. you know that kills brain cells.
